Summer Sewing!

The Little Lizard King Phoenix has such unique front bodice details and a v-shaped back which allows it to slip over the head with no closures!!!! AND it stays on the shoulders! With all her playign around at the park it did not slip off her shoulders once!!!!

This top/dress has the option for a square skirt with a circle opening (yay no gathering!) and also for an a-line lightly gathered skirt - which is what I sewed up! The size range is 12m - 12yrs.

I made the top version and paired with the Beaufort shorts (also little lizard king pattern).  This is a pretty quick sew, I finished this top one tired evening in about an hour. and I was not sewing fast.

This pattern is a great quick sew, the bodice is fully lined and features the burrito roll method in the tutorial! (which is a great technique to learn and well explained)

Happy sewing!
